2000 AD #461
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis March 1986 prog of 2000 AD sets a wonderfully absurd scene right on its cover: a confident, red-haired woman in a form-fitting outfit strikes a satisfied pose, exclaiming "My hero!" — while beside her a grotesque, drooling creature with enormous fangs looms over what appears to be a prone figure on the ground. Anthony Jozwiak's cover art blends pulpy humor with genuine weirdness, perfectly capturing the irreverent spirit that made 2000 AD essential weekly reading in '86. With Alan Moore writing and Ian Gibson on art duties inside, Prog 461 is a fine slice of British comics at their sharp, strange best.
