This April 1984 prog of Britain's beloved weekly anthology plants Judge Dredd squarely at the center of a wonderfully chaotic crowd scene — on one side, a ragged mob of "slummies" looking forward to the good life, and on the other, their well-heeled new neighbours demanding a billion-credit refund, with Dredd's armored bulk the only thing separating the two factions. Ian Gibson's cover art captures the full absurdity of the situation with sharp caricature work, every face in the crowd bristling with personality and comic desperation.
