From June 1983, this prog of 2000 AD features one of the most viscerally striking covers of its era — a massive, snarling werewolf dominates the frame, its jaws stretched wide in a thunderous roar, while a steely Judge Dredd stands his ground in the foreground, weapon raised and clearly unimpressed. The "Cry of the Werewolf" tagline sets the tone perfectly, and Steve Dillon's cover art captures both the creature's ferocity and Dredd's unflinching resolve with real energy. A great snapshot of the weekly anthology at full throttle in 1983.
