Prog 2418 of Britain's long-running sci-fi anthology kicks off a new Judge Dredd thriller with a cover by Nick Percival that is genuinely unsettling — Dredd's helmeted face looms close, battered and rain-slicked, against a ghostly blue-green cityscape that seems to bleed between dimensions. The tagline "The Nightmare Next Door — Dare You Enter the Shift?" sets a foreboding tone for Ken Niemand's incoming story, brought to life inside by Percival's art and Annie Parkhouse's lettering. If you're after atmospheric 2000 AD tension in 2025, this is a fine place to step through the door.
