2000 AD #2054
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis 2017 prog from Rebellion's 2000 AD spotlights the Harry Absalom strip with a striking cover by Tiernen Trevallion — two weathered, monstrous faces loom in close proximity, one grimly human and red-eyed, the other a leering demonic figure, both crowding around a small pink mobile phone with unsettling intensity. The tagline "Time is running out for Harry Absalom" lends the image a real sense of dread, while the grey-and-flesh palette makes that incongruous splash of pink all the more unnerving. Inside, "Lord of the Fyreflies" features the creative talents of writer Rory McConville, artist Mick McMahon, colorist Chris Blythe, and letterer Annie Parkhouse — a solid lineup for one of British comics' most enduring anthologies.
