Prog 2040 of 2000 AD serves up one of the more unsettling cover images the Galaxy's Greatest Comic has offered in 2017 — Judge Dredd's unmistakable helmet and eagle shoulder pad wrapped tightly in mummy bandages, the green-skinned figure beneath letting out a wide-mouthed, fanged snarl. Neil Roberts' painted cover work sells the horror-tinged premise perfectly, teasing the promise of a mummy loose in Mega-City One. Inside, Arthur Wyatt, Tom Foster, Chris Blythe, and Annie Parkhouse bring "The Wrap-Up" to life — which, given that cover, sounds like exactly the kind of case Dredd would rather not be handling.
