Prog 1883 kicks off "Traumatown," a new Judge Dredd thriller promised right on the cover as "mindbending." Nick Percival's painted cover art delivers an unsettling close-up of Dredd's helmeted face — that unmistakable red eagle crest and visor framing a grimly weathered jaw — as the surrounding space seems to ripple and fracture around him like crumbling stone or disrupted matter. With Michael Carroll writing and Percival handling every aspect of the interior art as well, this 2014 prog looks set to be a moody, visually rich chapter in Mega-City One's ongoing story.
