Prog 188 of 2000 AD hits newsstands on 29 November 1980 with a cover by Ian Gibson that puts Judge Dredd face-to-face with a shrieking, disintegrating figure — a grotesque eruption of matter that fills the circular vignette while a second figure in an orange jumpsuit looks on from the right. The tagline promises "the tale of terror that caught the Galaxy unawares… Return to Armageddon," giving the whole image a suitably apocalyptic charge. Inside, Alan Grant and Ezquerra continue "The Schicklgruber Grab" into its seventh part — essential weekly reading for any fan of Mega-City One's finest.
