Prog 1732 of 2000 AD spotlights "Infernal Affairs" with a cover by Tiernen Trevallion that's hard to look away from — a grim-faced Inspector Harry Absalom stands front and center in a heavy trenchcoat, surrounded by his distinctly unsettling Odd Squad: a mix of scarred, stone-skinned, and otherwise otherworldly figures rendered in moody, steel-blue tones. The ensemble portrait gives the whole crew a noir-tinged weight that feels perfectly suited to 2011's grittier end of British comics. Inside, the anthology rolls on with "California Babylon Part Two," brought to life by writer Michael Carroll, artist and inker Ben Willsher, colorist Chris Blythe, and letterer Annie Parkhouse.
