Prog 1060 of 2000 AD arrives with a genuinely unsettling cover by Paul Johnson — a skeletal, horned creature in a golden helmet leers forward with bony fingers raised, set against a swirling, electric backdrop of deep purples and reds. Inside, the prog promises a packed lineup including the new thrill Vector 13 exploring whether movies can be cursed, future hitmen Sinister Dexter in "Ground Zero," and the final conflict for Caitlin in Witch World. It's a strong 1997 package from Egmont Fleetway that showcases the anthology at its darkly imaginative best.
