2000 AD #1021

This 1996 prog from Egmont Fleetway puts Arthur Ranson's striking linework front and center, depicting a pale, kneeling figure in blue confronted by a hulking, chained beast rising against a dizzying red-and-white maze pattern — the cover tagline "Deathmaze: Adam Cadman Faces His Inner Demons" setting an ominous psychological tone. Ranson both pencils and inks the image, and the hypnotic spiral labyrinth background lends the whole composition a genuinely unsettling depth.
