Volume 11 of Yu Hashimoto's 2.5 Dimensional Seduction turns up the energy with a karaoke-night cover that puts two characters front and center — a dark-haired guy belting passionately into a microphone and a pink-haired girl in her school uniform singing right alongside him, disco ball glittering in the background. There's a wonderful tension between the two performers that captures exactly what makes this series so charming: the push-and-pull between otaku enthusiasm and real human connection. A great pick-up for fans following along in 2024.
