10th Muse #2

From Image Comics in 2001, 10th Muse #2 continues the "Renamero" storyline with a cover by Ken Lashley and Rick Ketcham that puts the hero front and center — a fierce, blue-eyed blonde in sleek dark armor poised on a city rooftop at dusk, a golden rope coiled at her side and her clawed hand raised for action. The warm amber skyline and urban backdrop give the image real energy, framing her as someone completely at home between the streets below and the sky above. With Marv Wolfman writing and Ken Lashley on interior art, this is a solid superhero package that early Image fans had every reason to pick up.
