From Adam Gallardo and Todd Demong comes *100 Girls*, a sharp action series that opens with "Chapter One" and a cover that sets the tone immediately. Blonde, fists raised, mid-stride and clearly not backing down, Sylvia bursts across the teal background while inset panels hint at a nighttime stakeout and some kind of mysterious equipment — and the tagline says it plainly: "Sylvia's the first…." Demong's kinetic linework gives this 2008 Simon and Schuster release an energetic, street-level feel that makes you want to find out exactly what comes after that ellipsis.
