This issue opens with Kenneth Bulmer's serial "Green Destiny," Part One of Three, accompanied by an author profile detailing Bulmer's childhood maritime experiments and his 1955 American research into aqua-lunging and underwater exploration. The serial itself follows Commander Jeremy Dodge, recently returned to Earth after ten years in space, who encounters Elise Tarrant, secretary to a Mr. Grosvenor. The narrative is framed by an atmospheric prologue depicting an undersea world: vast ocean depths surrounding a chain of glowing domes on the continental shelf, controlled populations of fish responding to unknown forces, and a mysterious attack on one of the domes by giant creatures and armed figures.
