This science fiction issue contains six complete stories. The lead novella, "Stay Out of Space!" (20,000 words) by Dwight V. Swain, depicts a grim execution: a man named Goss is captured by operatives of an organization called The Council—specifically by Dey Z'ulle and Dr. Sarah Corley—using paralyzing weapons. Goss is interrogated while physically immobilized, unable to move despite conscious awareness. Additional stories include "Return to Phoneytown" by Tom W. Harris, "Traitor Legion" by Robert Silverberg, "Lefty Baker's Nuthouse" by Rog Phillips, "Strike the First Blow!" by Randall Garrett, and "Vanishing Act" by Robert Randall. The issue includes reader letters and editorial commentary discussing a cover-art precedent dispute with Amazing Stories. The magazine also advertises books on hypnosis and self-hypnosis by Melvin Powers and a crime detection correspondence course.
Each page has its own page — the cartoon, who’s in it, and what the satire means.
