This December 1933 issue of French Night Life Stories features pulp fiction centered on Paris's nightlife and sexual encounters. The issue contains multiple short stories by authors including Frank Kenneth Young, Rae King, Joseph Lichtblau, R. Coghlan, Nadia Merrill, Kirk Wolff, and Babette Cotter. "Hello Sucker!" follows American tourist Guy Dulane as a street tout directs him through Paris's demimonde—selling postcards, conducting him to an underground cabaret where nude models pose on stage, then arranging private meetings with performers. Other stories include accounts of men's romantic adventures abroad ("A Pleasurable Business Trip," "The Baron of the Boulevards," "For the Love of Loisette") and romantic complications ("Bagged at Bagatelle," "It Gets to Be a Habit"). The magazine includes a photographic art section of Parisian women and a guide to Paris nightlife establishments. The issue is framed with pseudoscientific mail-order advertising for sex education literature.
Each page has its own page — the cartoon, who’s in it, and what the satire means.
