Frank Morris contributes "Gun Law," concerning a young man returning home to confront the man who killed his father and is now marrying his mother. Vivian N. White's "Boots and Back Again" involves partners Jim and another man fighting for possession of Vermilion Creek. John Jo Carpenter's "Death Rides the Sideroad" centers on a man named Buster whose days are numbered. William J. Glynn's "Coyote Credit Trap" features Charlie Taylor being victimized by two criminals. Ben Frank's story concerns a new newspaper owner uncovering circumstances regarding his uncle's fate.
