Far East Adventure Stories featured "The Last Outpost" by Arthur J. Burks, a Foreign Legion tale (opening page missing, extent unclear). The magazine, published by Fiction Publishers Inc. in New York, appeared monthly at 20¢ per issue or $2.00 yearly ($2.60 in Canada). The November 1931 issue included extensive advertisements for physical culture training courses by George F. Jowett ("Molding a Mighty Arm," "Molding a Mighty Chest," etc., priced individually at 25¢ or as a complete six-book set for $1.00), along with hotel training schools, tailoring businesses, electrical education, and health/eugenic publications. The bulk of this issue's content consists of period mail-order advertisements rather than fiction material.
