About this issue

Curtis Garland's "Miserere," the featured story in this Spanish-language terror collection, follows Warren Ashley, a young American of British ancestry, who travels to England to reunite with his fiancée. Stranded by a sudden storm while exploring the ruins of Greensborough Abbey near Nottingham, Ashley takes shelter beneath trees. There he encounters a strikingly beautiful English woman, recently married, who is similarly trapped by the downpour. She claims to be on her honeymoon, traveling northward from London with her considerably older husband—a marriage of family convenience.
