This issue contains four serials across various genres: Eyes West!, a motion-picture drama set in South America featuring conflict between a vain film actor, Rupert Bagueville, and a young Texan stunt double named Ray Haskins; Why Did She Do It? (part two); A. Merritt's Seven Footprints to Satan (part four); and George M. Johnson's Nevada Gold (part three). A complete novelette, Penny Wise by Beatrice Ashton Vandegrift, is included, along with six short stories by various authors covering genres from mystery (The Booby Trap by Gordon Stiles) to comedy (Man's Place is the Home by John Wilstach). The issue also features six poems. A new serial by Edgar Franklin, Paid in Advance, begins next week.
Each page has its own page — the cartoon, who’s in it, and what the satire means.
