Gray raised his eyes as they entered, and a faint snile lighted up his pale features as he recognized Ethel, who with a trembling step and an almost bursting heart, bent over him with the affectionate solicitude of a daughter. What a change a few short wecks had made in that form of almost gigantic mould. ~The once strong arm now Jay powerless by his side.
