The public appear to have been diverted by these performances. And the Big and Serious Advertisers, to-do them justice, have taken it all in very good part — convinced, no doubt, that one of the distinctions of true Greatness is to be caricatured But, although the hand of the Law has not been invoked to stop this irreverent campaign, stopped it is going to be.
