190 Paddling Under Palmettos. There was no time to see more, for the Sea Waif had reached the spot where the surf began. All around him Archie saw the water bubbling and boiling and frothing. He set his teeth hard and went at it. By this time he had found out how to manipulate the boat in order to keep upon the crest of the wave.
