Oh, my lord!—oh, my lady!—an old gipsy woman—she tied a handkerchief over my eyes, till I was quite blind, that I might see my future husband—and the carriage— in the church—and then she ran away with Miss Clementina! and I ran home, and—oh, my lord!—oh, my lady !—please don’t hang me—oh, oh, please don’t—oh, oh! Lrop H. Girl, girl—what have you done? (crossing to LADY HARLESDON) Go from my sight—go! JEMIMA. (aside) I know he means to hang me—I know he does—oh, oh! Exit, R. Lorp H. (c.)
