Featured story "Personal Touch" depicts Peter Brent, owner of cherry orchards, encountering Patricia, a violin-playing migrant picker at a workers' campfire gathering. After dancing and intimate contact in the forest, Peter flees, fearful of complications given his social position. The issue includes a poem "Faith!" by J.C. Vivian, Dixie Duncan's advice column with reader pen-pal requests, and a full-page advertisement for Dr. Hutton's "The Sex Technique in Marriage," a medical guide addressing marital sexual matters with anatomical diagrams.
