This Spanish-language science fiction story by Johnny Garland follows Alan Dawson, a reporter and special agent of the SIP (an investigative organization), who travels to remote Loch Manor in Scotland's Highlands to locate and arrest Professor Laszlo Kovac, accused of manufacturing illegal electronic devices for criminal purposes. Posing as a journalist, Dawson coerces Kovac's servant Lothman at gunpoint to grant him access to the professor's laboratory in the building's basement levels. Upon entering, Dawson discovers Kovac is actually a holographic projection created by a sophisticated mirror and television system—when Dawson fires his thermal weapon, the illusion shatters. Trapped in a sealed metal chamber, Dawson realizes he has fallen into Kovac's trap, now imprisoned with only his thermal pistol and limited concealed weapons.
