This pulp detective magazine contains a complete 290-page novel "Three Women and a Corpse" by Roger Torrey, in which a private detective hired for an undefined job becomes entangled with a client, only to discover complications surrounding a corpse. Five shorter stories follow: "Hard to Poison" by James A. Lawson features a stubborn woman and a "Hard Guy"; "The Lady Called" by Prescott Grattan depicts a supposedly genteel woman carrying a knife in her garter in Paris; "To Kill at Leisure" by Walton Grey explores murder in an apartment where a wealthy man has given keys to five different women; "On" by Paul Hanna concerns a criminal using camera tricks; and "There Fens Poser" by R. T. Maynard involves a detective investigating theft and murder. Special articles include "In the Microscope," about forensic analysis of string evidence, and "Hollywood Chiseler," covering a con artist versus a movie star.
