This issue features four science fiction short stories and a serial installment. "Mission One Hundred" by Kenneth Bulmer follows Flux Navigator Norton Bradley preparing for his hundredth dangerous combat mission against alien Octos in the Gideon system, piloting weaponized fluxwagons from a massive base ship. "Sister Under the Skin" by Bertram Chandler appears at page 27, while E.R. James contributes "Made on Mars" (page 36) and Peter Hawkins offers "Watcher on Sargan IV" (page 60). The serial is "The Uninhibited" by Dan Morgan, presented as part two of three. An article by Kenneth Johns titled "Power in the Sky" appears at page 56. The issue includes editor John Carnell's lengthy editorial devoted to the 15th World Science Fiction Convention, held that month in London, highlighting guest John W. Campbell Jr. The magazine includes a featured author profile of Dan Morgan discussing his novel-length ESP-themed story.
