Doc Savage: Manantial de Juventud

This Spanish-language Doc Savage pulp story, "Manantial de juventud" (Fountain of Youth), begins with the bronze man's capture on a New York street. A long-nosed, sweating man named Leaking uses a gas-filled wallet trap to incapacitate Doc, who feigns unconsciousness. Leaking and a taxi driver transport the seemingly helpless Doc to the twentieth floor of a Wall Street office building, where lawyer N. Beckell Hallet awaits. Upon attempting to bind their captive, both villains discover Doc is conscious and fully capable—he effortlessly subdues them with his extraordinary strength, nearly crushing their throats. Doc then reveals he saw through their scheme from the start, deliberately playing along to uncover their intentions. When Leaking refuses to explain their motives, Doc's interrogation grows physically threatening.
