This issue comprises two distinct pulp narratives. The first section advertises the Redskin Library series, featuring Colonel Buffalo Bill alongside partners Pawnee Bill and Nick Wharton in Western adventures among indigenous tribes near the Rio Grande, with recent titles including "Buffalo Bill and the Death Machine," "Buffalo Bill and the Talking Idol," and "Buffalo Bill and the Kidnapped Girl," released at threepence bi-monthly.

The main feature, "The End of Wild Ivan," presents a serial Western crime saga. After a mountain storm, the outlaw "Brotherhood of Death" led by the masked Colonel Bill Blood—who has kidnapped Alice La Rue, daughter of rival outlaw Red Kit—demands her reveal a treasure's location. When Alice refuses, Blood orders mutilation; a lightning strike kills Blood before he can escalate. A masked youth calling himself the "Boy Fiend" materializes claiming to join the Brotherhood, ultimately becomes their new captain. The narrative simultaneously tracks an emigrant wagon train approaching through plains territory, composed of Jewish merchant families, American settlers named Stone and Resville, and a mysterious passenger, Thomas Jefferson Jaggers, under veteran guide supervision.
