"Robinsones del cerebro" by Clark Carrados is a science fiction novella serialized in this Spanish pulp edition (1968, Ediciones Toray). The narrative follows wealthy industrialist Jackson R. Duttweiler's recruitment of Dr. Robles, a brilliant scientist whose research enables the reduction of living beings to microscopic size. Duttweiler offers substantial funding for Robles's experiments under the pretext of establishing a philanthropic university bearing his name. After eighteen months, Duttweiler returns to witness a successful demonstration in which both men are reduced to bacterial scale. However, Duttweiler's true intentions emerge when he murders the scientist, steals the reduction apparatus, and flees in his gravimóvil. Robles's secretary Delia had harbored suspicions about Duttweiler's character from their first meeting. An unnamed observer watches the scene unfold through binoculars, noting the suspicious departure of the gravimóvil.
