Capitán Pantera

This Spanish-language pulp story, "Los Tres Socios" (The Three Partners) by P. V. Debrigode, depicts a violent crime narrative. Clem Stack, a former lawyer turned gang leader who orchestrated a bank robbery at the South-Bank, confronts G-Men lieutenant Anthony Marquahson in Stack's attic apartment. After a tense gunfight, Gene Carter—Stack's partner—arrives and kills Marquahson. Stack reveals plans to eliminate the remaining seven gang members, deeming them liabilities who might talk. The narrative shifts to a truck driven by an ordinary working man named Johnny, who is forced at gunpoint to transport gang members. After delivering them to a factory location, Johnny is murdered by the gang. The story culminates with the gang splitting into two groups for a factory heist, unaware that Gene Carter, stationed at an ambush point, intends to massacre four of them with a machine gun while they advance toward him unsuspectingly.
