# Museum Catalog Note
This November 1929 issue of King Publishing Co. contains a collection of short stories and humor pieces by various authors. "Inside Information," by Grace Poe Porter, opens the magazine—a story of Bonnie Millay, entangled in Broadway's underworld, whose life changes when love arrives. Other featured fiction includes "Giddy Gotham Gossips" (a humorous narrative), "For Fame and Fortune" by Dexter Doone, "Home to Portal" by Robert Dumont, "A Stitch in Time" by Eve Lynn, "In a Broadway Manner" by Charles Bochert, and "Fitz, the Wise Guy," described as a Broadway tale. Additional content includes humor pieces: "A Perfect 11" (cartoon), "It's a Fact" by Russ King, "Slack Door Doings" by Carol Bird, and "Smart Stepping" (cartoon). The issue also contains extensive mail-order advertising for watches, rings, air pistols, telescopes, and home furniture, along with a book advertisement for Tales from the Decameron.
