This Spanish-language pulp adventure features international spy-journalist Brigitte Montfort and photographer Frank Minello. The story concerns a political crisis in post-colonial Africa: two newly independent nations, Maokambo and Sabaa, dispute territorial division after French decolonization. Maokambo faces severe water scarcity because the vital Nimaro River fell within Sabaa's borders; Maokambo requests boundary revision but Sabaa refuses. In response, 250,000 Maokambans organize "La Marcha Negra"—a massive march toward the disputed territory to nonviolently occupy it for water access. The Sabaán government threatens military response. Brigitte proposes infiltrating the march as a correspondent, using "Blackcolor," an injectable pigmentation agent, to darken her skin and live among the marchers while documenting events. She bets her editor Miky Grogan she can control the march if crisis erupts. Minello joins her as photographer. The narrative follows their departure for Maokambo and arrival at Oka airport with special equipment concealed in luggage.
