# Museum Catalog Note

Excursión al Infierno (Excursion to Hell) by Joseph Berna is a terror-thriller serial installment (No. 538 in the Selección Terror collection, June 1983). The narrative opens in London where bus driver Trevor Buckley and flight attendant Abby Guinness prepare a seven-day tour of English cities for twenty-four tourists. The opening establishes romantic tension between the flirtatious Buckley and the resistant Guinness. After departing the hotel, the tour is intercepted by two armed men posing as traffic police who commandeer the bus at gunpoint, ordering Buckley to follow an isolated road. When questioned about their destination, one gunman cryptically responds "Al Infierno" (to Hell itself), claiming the passengers are destined for something beyond mere robbery. The narrative builds mystery and menace as the trapped tourists and crew face an unexplained supernatural threat.
