Selección Terror: Yo, la loba

· 1974

"Yo, la loba" by Joe Mogar is a horror-mystery serial set aboard the yacht Colombo en route through the Malay archipelago. Journalist Kerry Drake joins wealthy yacht owner Simon Dugan and passengers including the beautiful Natalia Chambers, Cora Perkins, and Dugan's daughter Sharon for a pleasure cruise. Drake becomes romantically interested in Natalia while tension builds aboard ship. A Malayan visitor named Orsu arrives with a terrifying account of encountering a werewolf on a nearby island. The narrative alternates between Drake's perspective and interior monologue from a mysterious beautiful woman—revealed to be Natalia—who harbors a dark secret: she is cursed, transforming into a wolf-creature during the full moon, overwhelmed by homicidal urges she cannot control. As the moon waxes, dread intensifies among the passengers while Natalia struggles between her human beauty and bestial nature.
