# DINASTÍA DIABÓLICA by Curtis Garland

This Spanish-language pulp horror story, issue #487 of Selección Terror (June 1982, Editorial Bruguera), follows a woman driving a 1960 Mercedes Benz to the Kasznar family summer estate during a sudden violent thunderstorm. Seeking shelter in an abandoned hunting lodge on the property, she discovers the building locked from within despite being empty for decades. When she attempts escape, a mirror in the darkness reflects her image with an eerie reddish glow. After smashing the mirror in terror, the glass shards inexplicably fly toward her like knives, lacerating her body as a demonic laugh echoes through the circular pavilion. The narrative emphasizes mounting psychological horror—the woman had learned something disturbing in the city that day—culminating in grotesque violence amid the storm's continued fury.
