This issue of Selección Terror (#409, December 1980) features a horror serial by Clark Carrados titled "¡Dientes!" (Teeth). The narrative follows Brett Parnum, a naturalist photographing wildlife from a tree platform near a coastal swamp, who witnesses a young horsewoman named Philippa Tarnell thrown from her panicked mount. After the horse crosses a breached fence into a brackish lagoon, a shark attacks and kills it—a shocking occurrence in inland waters. The pair then encounters Janus Deckering, an imposing estate owner who controls two trained black panthers, Yaia and Sturm, which he keeps on his property. Deckering warns them against trespassing but proves cordial. The fragment ends as Parnum accepts Philippa's invitation to her home, Casa Larga, to return his shirt and continue their acquaintance. The story emphasizes animal danger and the mysterious, unsettling presence of Deckering's exotic animals.
