# Catalog Description
Infierno, S.A. by Adam Surray is a Spanish-language horror-thriller. The story centers on John McEveely, a fifty-five-year-old widowed lawyer and San Francisco Civic Committee president, who receives an anonymous package containing an inflatable sex doll. After initial disgust, McEveely discovers the doll has an activation button on its back that causes it to inflate into a lifelike form. That night, he awakens to find the doll in his bed; it strangles him with superhuman force, killing him between 10 p.m. and midnight.
Police Lieutenant Cyril Bronson investigates the bizarre murder, finding the doll positioned atop McEveely's corpse. The doll was delivered by a fake delivery agency. Forensic evidence—including small footprints and artificial hair fibers clutched in the victim's hand—suggests impossible circumstances. A subplot involves McEveely's recent Civic Committee meeting where he advocated aggressive suppression of various religious sects operating in Lange Hill, including those promoting free love and drug use.
