# Cambridge Blue Book, 1906
This is a Cambridge, Massachusetts city directory and social register for 1906. The publication contains alphabetical and street-indexed listings of leading residents, illustrations of Cambridge landmarks and institutions, city officials and their salaries, information about local organizations and societies (fraternal orders, charitable associations, historical societies, and clubs), fire alarm box locations with instructions, rates of postage, theater diagrams, and pages of advertisements for local businesses including coal dealers, ice cream companies, laundries, furniture stores, and financial institutions. The text includes a preface by editor Edward A. Jones from December 1905, acknowledging contributors and advertisers. The book sold for $1.50 and was published by Boston Suburban Book Co., with copyright by Jones in 1905.
