# Blue Book Magazine, April 1936
This issue features two serialized narratives and multiple short stories spanning adventure, frontier, and dramatic genres.
The lead serial "Kioga of the Wilderness" by William L. Chester continues the saga of a white boy raised among natives in an Arctic oasis, returning to the frontier. Captain Scott and the narrator discuss the mystery of the missing research ship Narwhal and its search for Kioga, who abandoned civilization to return northward three years prior.
"Caravan Treasure" by James Francis Dwyer follows travelers from Ireland to the Sahara in an accelerating narrative. Additional fiction includes H. Bedford-Jones' "Arms and Men" (installment XV, featuring the Inca), Leland Jamieson's "The Flaming Finish" (flying circus story), and William J. Makin's novelette "The Mines of Sheba's Queen," starring the Red Wolf of Arabia character. Other contributions explore shipboard intrigue, police adventures, and true-experience accounts from diverse settings including Siam's forests and Japanese earthquakes.
