This issue features two serials: Stanley Shaw's "The Conquering Woman," a dramatic story of romance and business intrigue, and Charles Alden Seltzer's "Firebrand Trevison," depicting a conflict over a land-steal in the Western frontier.

Short fiction includes B.M. Bower and Buck Connor's "The Reckoning," a Texas Rangers tale about rival brothers Bill and Bud Downey competing for waitress Betty Bryant's affection; Edwin Balmer's "Kamerad Kelly," about American seaplane pilots capturing a German spy; William Almon Wolff's "Sour Grapes," interweaving war, love, and college life; Frederick R. Bechdolt's "Two Kinds of Nerve," concerning a penitentiary guard's dilemma; and works by Kenneth MacNichol, Crittenden Marriott, James Francis Dwyer, Clarence Herbert New, Ellis Parker Butler, and A.C. Allenson.

Frank R. Adams contributes a complete short novel, "Unexpected Places," involving romance, war, and mystery in America. The issue also advertises Cosmo Hamilton's serialized novel "Who Cares?," launching in The Green Book Magazine.
