Beadle's New Dime Novels: Rangers of the Mohawk

This 1868 dime novel by Edward S. Ellis follows "The Rangers of the Mohawk," a tale set during the American Revolution's siege of Fort Schuyler in 1777. General St. Leger besieges the fort defended by Colonel Gansevoort against British forces, Tories, and Six Nations Indians. General Herkimer's relief force is defeated and routed at Oriskany.
