This issue features five science fiction stories. The novelette "With Folded Hands" by Jack Williamson concerns Underhill, a struggling android salesman in Two Rivers, who discovers a competing firm—the Humanoid Institute—has established a new office. The sleek black humanoids, controlled from an unknown planet (Wing IV), are superior to conventional androids and operate without human salesmen. A humanoid confronts Underhill, predicting the obsolescence of his business and announcing a home demonstration. Underhill discovers crates of imported humanoids arriving by truck and becomes deeply alarmed about his financial prospects.

Poul Anderson contributes the novelette "Logic." Isaac Asimov's short story "Little Lost Robot" and Edward Grendon's "The Figure" are also included. Anthony Boucher's "The Chronokinesis of Jonathan Hull" completes the issue's fiction lineup.
