Pettibone (chapters VII-IX, Part II); "Texas Fever" by Charles V. Barney (chapters XVIII-XXIII, continued); and "The Hammer" by John Frederick (chapters XXVII-XXXI). Two complete novelettes are included: "Whose Hands?" by Edwina Levin and "First National Bank of Faro" by Raber Mundore. Six short stories complete the fiction: "Mustered Out" by H.
