# Four Dimensional Robberies and Other Tales

This issue of Amazing Stories contains eight science fiction stories and serials. Bob Olsen contributes "Four Dimensional Robberies," following his previous "Four Dimensional Surgery," concerning mysterious thefts of over a billion dollars in bonds from safe deposit boxes nationwide—a crisis kept secret to prevent panic. The ongoing serial "A Story of the Days to Come" by H.G. Wells (Part II) depicts a futuristic society. Edgar Allan Poe's "Thousand-and-Second Tale of Scheherazade" receives reprinting. Hugo Gernsback offers "Baron Munchhausen's Scientific Adventures" exploring Martian cities and terraforming theories. Francis Flagg contributes "The Master Ants." Additional stories include "The Octopus Cycle" by Irvin Lester and Fletcher Pratt, "Dr. Brittlestone's Method" by Samuel Sargent Jr., and "A Visitor from the Twentieth Century" by Harold Donnis. The issue includes Gernsback's editorial "Facts Outfictioned," discussing General Electric's recent high-frequency electromagnetic experiments that heat matter without physical contact.
