Amazing Stories, March 1928, Vol. 2, No. 12. Six fiction selections comprise this issue. "Ten Million Miles Sunward" by Geoffrey Hevelcke depicts space travel toward the sun. "Baron Munchhausen's Scientific Adventures" by Hugo Gernsback continues the Baron's interstellar explorations. H.G. Wells contributes "The Flowering of the Strange Orchid," a tale of botanical discovery. Jules Verne's "The Master of the World" appears as Part II of a two-part serial, adapted from his 1911 work. W.F. Hammond's "Lakh-Dal, Destroyer of Souls" features a villain wielding concentrated moonbeams capable of inducing madness in victims within minutes. Charles Cloukey contributes "Sub-Satellite." The cover illustration depicts a scene from Hammond's story. The magazine also announces forthcoming installments including Wells' "The Story of the Days to Come," stories by Clare Winger Harris and Cecil B. White, and further Baron Munchhausen adventures.
