This document is a UFO sighting report form (ATIC Form 379, Project 10073) dated June 27, 1962, from Ohio Route #3 near Cleveland. The observer, a field engineer for an abrasive manufacturer with aircraft familiarity, reported sighting an unidentified object while driving northbound at 50-55 mph. The ellipsoid-shaped object, estimated at 2,500-3,000 feet altitude and 3,000-4,000 feet distant, was observed for five to seven seconds traveling in a north-northeast direction. It displayed a highly reflective metallic surface surrounded by a spectral aura, moved in a straight level course at extreme speed with no sound or exhaust, and gradually appeared gray-black as it receded. The observer noted the object had no visible wings or empennage, possibly disc-shaped, and was lost behind trees as distance increased.
