This document is not a pulp magazine but rather an official U.S. Air Force UFO report form (ATIC Form 339) from July 18, 1956, documenting a sighting near Verona, Italy. The record details observations of an unidentified flying object reported by a U.S. Air Force colonel traveling from Belgrade. The object was described as circular, bright white with a bluish-white rear area and an orange-red tail approximately six times the main body's length, traveling horizontally at approximately 80 degrees above the horizon from south to north. The sighting lasted roughly eight seconds. Multiple witnesses including the colonel's dependent children, several NCO personnel, and a U.S. Army major on temporary duty in Livorno reported observing the same phenomenon. The conclusion classification remains undetermined, with insufficient data for definitive evaluation.
